During the month of July, the National Writing Projecct is hosting a four-webinar series on Connectedlearning.tv.

The series, Writers at Work: Making and Connected Learning, had a fantastic kick-off this Tuesday, July 2.

Above is the archived video from the webinar. You can see this video, as well as an archive with resources and key questions/comments here.

Additionally, the DML Research Hub, which runs Connectedlearning.tv, put together this great, short Storify of that first webinar.

Coming Up

Make sure to tune in for the remaining three webinars in the series. Next week, July 9, we have “What Does ‘Interest-Driven’ Look Like?”; on July 16, we have “Learner Pathways”; and on July 23 we have “From Expression to Impact: Youth Civic Engagement Enacted.” All webinars take place on Tuesdays at 10am PT / 1pm ET.

We’re also continuing the conversation with Twitter chats on Thursdays following the webinars. From 10-11am PT / 1pm-2pm ET, we engage with the principles and the discussion from the webinar via #literacies chat.

For more information about the upcoming webinars and Twitter chats, visit the Connectedlearning.tv page on the series.
