Last night NWP educators from around the country – including Jeremy Hyler and Troy Hicks of the Chippewa River Writing Project, Gail Desler of the Area 3 Writing Project, Janelle Quintans Bence from the North Star of Texas Writing Project and Figment.com author and 8th grade student Maddy Richardson Graham – talked about writing digitally and the upcoming Digital Learning Day on NWP Radio. The National Writing Project has partnered with the Alliance for Excellent Education, the New York Times Learning Network, Figment, and Edutopia to spread the word about Digital Learning Day on February 1, 2012, support the building of a digital learning movement, and share resources for effective teaching. Over 33 states have already signed up to host their own Digital Learning Day events.
