Multiple Paths to Success: Promoting Peer-Supported Learning Grounded in Student Interests

Our month-long series, Equity and Learning in the 21st Century Classroom, continued strongly on Tuesday. The series, broadcast in partnership with Educator Innovator and Connectedlearning.tv, focuses specifically on equity in relation to Connected Learning principles.

This third webinar, Multiple Paths to Success: Promoting Peer-Supported Learning Grounded in Student Interests, is now archived. This webinar focused on how teachers can create powerful classroom experiences that tap into students’ passions and allows them to support each other in their learning. We were pleased to welcome guests Cindy O’Donnell-Allen of the Colorado State University Writing Project; Craig Watkins of the Connected Learning Research Network; Meenoo Rami of the Philadelphia Writing Project; and Paul Allison of the New York City Writing Project. We were also honored to be joined by several of Meenoo’s students at Science Leadership Academy (SLA): Wynn, Briana, and Reggie. The webinar was hosted by Antero Garcia of the Colorado State University Writing Project. For more information, and to view resources related to the webinar, click here.
