Where are you (if anywhere) in the Twitter Adoption Matrix?
It seems an increasing number of educators, especially in higher education, are building Twitter into their courses. But what does it mean to build Twitter into our courses? In this Twitter Adoption Matrix, based on work by Rick Reo and then revised by Mark Sample, Twitter adoption is arrayed along two axes of particular interest to us as teachers: a student activity axis from active to passive and a content or meaning-making axis from monologic to dialogic. If you use Twitter in your teaching, you might want to use the matrix to consider where you are, and where you would like to go.
