The New Youth City Learning Network is a consortium of New York City libraries and museums, schools and afterschool programs working together to create and connect learning opportunities for local middle and high school-aged youth across the city. The program promotes interest-driven learning and supports students in becoming digital media creators. In this video, Program Director for Knowledge Institutions and Digital Media and Learning, Diana Rhoten, explains the mission of the New Youth City Learning Network.

NYC LN is facilitated by the Social Science Research Council and Parsons The New School for Design with funding from the Digital Media and Learning Initiative at the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.
