Multimodal Composition

In the spring of 2007, I changed an assignment in my advanced composition class from a traditional written form into a multimodal composition. The results were interesting, from any number of perspectives, and encouraged me to try to capture the process of change for a presentation at my local writing project site, the Northern California Writing Project. The Resource Page from that presentation includes links to readings and texts used in the class, some tools that proved fruitful in analyzing and composing multimodal texts as a genre, and copious student samples from blogs and final projects.
