We would like to leave all who access this resource with a video conversation between myself and collaborator Danielle Filipiak. This conversation is a documented reflection on our experiences over the past 2-months, working in collaboration to create this resource.

My intent in collaborating with Danielle is:

to share the unique work of HERU and our partners, to educators, teachers, and academics who engage young people primarily in traditional classroom settings.
to advance the conversations being had around innovative digital media-based approaches to authentic youth engagement.
to offer a unique perspective on placing young people as the experts of their experiences, and as the producers of meaningful content that connect learning to their own values and positive points of self-identity.
