On July 30th, 1983 my sister Ivette gave me a little box beautifully wrapped in green paper; off course it was green, green is my favorite color. It was by 8th birthday. I unwrapped it, and there it was the most beautiful little thing I ever saw. A dark grey with light blue brooch pin with a Hello Kitty on top. I loved the way sparkled when she put it on my dress.
That brooch made me feel happy, loved and appreciated. My sister’s gesture thought me to think carefully about the preferences and taste of a person when choosing a gift.
