Maker Bridge Webinar Series
A series of three webinars, entitled Maker Bridge, was kicked off yesterday. The series is supported by the Nominet Trust – in collaboration with the MacArthur Foundation, as part of their involvement in Make Things Do Stuff. Below is the video archive of that first webinar.
From the Maker Bridge site:
“The series asks: what is new about digital making now? Why is it important? How does digital making relate to other forms of creativity? How can we best organise digital making for children and young people? Is digital making difficult to teach? What is happening in digital maker communities and how can we link schools and young people to them?”
You can be involved in the remaining two webinars! The remaining webinars are on June 5, 2013 at 9:00am PT/12:00pm ET and June 19, 2013 at 9:00am PT/12:00pm ET.
You can find out more information about the focus of the remaining webinars, and about joining the discussion on Twitter, at the Maker Bridge site.
