Hacking the Digital Classroom and Digital Is Facelift

Digital Is was recently featured in this post, Hacking the Digital Classroom with ‘Digital Is’, on the GradHacker blog by Andrea Zellner of the Red Cedar Writing Project and a PhD student at Michigan State University. Andrea writes, “If you want to hack your classroom with the best guidance out there, set aside an hour and point your browser to http://digitalis.nwp.org.”

This has been a busy summer for Digital Is too. Check out the active discussions, as well as the new resources that have recently been shared. We encourage you to jump in and share your thoughts, practice and questions. And a special thank you to all who have contributed your wonderful work and ideas already. Great job everyone!

Finally, the Digital Is website is getting ready for a face-lift! At the end of August will we send out a message to all community members with details about an upgrade to the site along with some design changes meant to improve user navigation, provide new ways to add content as well as allow for more robust searching. More soon.

And remember, you can subscribe to the latest activity feed and get updates via @writingproject and #nwp.

Cheers!
