About

I have been teaching in the English Department at Southeastern Louisiana University since 2000, and I completed the Summer Institute with the Southeastern Louisiana Writing Project in 2005. My educational background reflects the variety of my interests: a B.S. in Biology from Eureka College, and M.A. in British and American Literature from Murray State University, and a Ph.D. in Modern History and Literature from Drew University. I have served as the Technical Liaison for SLWP since 2005 and enjoy connecting with colleagues online and at the annual meeting. I participated in a Writing About Technology Writing Retreat in 2007. Current projects include technology in the classroom, self evaluation as a teaching tool, the Twilight series in the literary tradition, and lying in the American memoir.
