I'm a curious person who loves to explore new ideas, places, activities, and food. Some of that exploration is expressed in my work as an associate professor of English and director of the San Joaquin Valley Writing Project. I live in California's Central Valley, home to agriculture, spectacular scenery, and thriving cities.
