About
After 10 years of working as a writer and editor for various online publications in Chicago and NYC, I have changed careers to become an English and/or Humanities teacher for middle/high schoolers. My main goal in teaching is to help young people find their voice as writers and to overall elevate their interest in and committ to effective writing in any and all forms (from creative to journalistic to research writing, and so on). I am very interested in how the visual arts and visual pop culture can complement our undesrstanding and exploration of printed texts.
