I'm a PhD student at the University of Nevada, Reno. My research focuses on digital literacies in communities--generally, I research hackerspaces/makerspaces, video games, cyberactivism and other tech-based subcultures. I'm also the co-founder of the Northern Nevada Tool Library and the founder of The Research Institute for Better Environments (TRIBE).
