I am a new educator fumbling my way through lesson plans, laser pointer in one hand and Diet Coke in the other. My days are spent alongside 9th grade English Language Arts students, encouraging them to read and write and think for themselves. I regularly publish to my own personal blog, themarshbankclassroom.com, as well as to outside organizations like Edutopia. The Flint Hills Writing Project, and the people involved with it, is my home away from home. It is my utmost goal to continue to contribute to National Writing Project organizations and continue my support for the cause.
