Groups engage in learning @ NWP Digital Is!

Several colleagues of mine who teach at the University level have asked me, over time, about their preservice and/or other graduate students engaging here at the NWP Digital Is website and community. Writing Project sites too often organize and convene local study groups and other forms of group learning among educators. I thought I would take a moment then and share a few views into some ways I’ve seen groups engage here @ NWP Digital Is.

Digital Is often is used as a “text” and in support of discussions. Right now, in fact, you can see groups of pre-service students from Antero Garcia and Cindy O’Donnell-Allen’s classes at the Colorado State University, discussing resources that they found here (you are welcome to join these discussion too!):

Digital Is has also been a publishing forum for many groups, many of whom used the built-in drafting/response tools to work together before going public. Examples include:

And Digital Is has been also a text for supporting conversations in other spaces, such as the Making Writing and Literacy Learning Connections at P2PU.

How are you using NWP Digital Is? We’d love to know!
